Doug's designer damascus material is made from 1084, nickel, and L6.
The pattern (shown above) is "Ponzio Chaos Pattern" and is not
available through other knife making suppliers.
This high quality damascus
steel
contrasts extremely well when etched. The wave pattern looks really distinct
when ground as a blade.
