Damascus Bolster Stock
(Counterpoint Pattern) : (1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/16") We are excited to announce that we now have William Scarbury making exclusive mosaic bolster Damascus sets for Knifekits.com. William has been making high-quality Damascus for quite a few years. Our designer mosaic bolster material is made from 1084, nickel, and L6. This pattern (shown above) is called "Counterpoint". Our mosaic bolster stock is 3/16" thick, which gives both the folder and fixed blade knife maker enough material depth to build their knives to a good finish thickness. This also provides our makers with MORE material for the money in comparison to other mosaic bolster materials on the market. Mr. Scarbury normalizes the steel after forging, making it easier to work. This quality mosaic damascus steel colors-up extremely well when etched . Sizes are (1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1/4")
