Oregon Skinner

The Oregon Skinner is 6-1/2” overall in length. It has a 2-3/4” inch long blade, which is 1” inch wide and 1/8” inch thick. This AUS6 high carbon stainless steel blade comes with three 1/4” diameter holes for pins, handle bolts and a thong hole that is 1/4” in diameter. This pattern also has two 1/8” diameter holes for optional pins in the middle.

The Oregon Skinner is flat ground and polished. This is a great design for a small skinner and a really fun project to build. For handle construction, use (2) (.312x.250) handle bolts or (2) 1/4 pins. Also see "Mosaic pins". The thong hole is pre-drilled and is 1/4 diameter.

NOTE: The base Oregon Skinner kit is supplied with epoxy, 5 x 1.5 Cocobolo handle slabs and the Oregon Skinner blade. Handle Pins, Bolts or Thong Hole Tube are optional.
