The
Sensei (Japanese Style Tanto)
The Sensei Tanto is a nice size knife at
11” overall length. It has a 6-1/2” blade,
which is 1-1/8” wide. It's
just under 3/16” thick, full tang Japanese style
tanto with a wicked hollow grind. The finish is a nice
satin finished
AUS6
stainless
steel. Two 3/16” diameter holes for 3/16 handle
pinstock. Comes with Nickel/Silver bolsters and bolster
pins. Handle pins are optional.
For
handle construction, use any of our 3/16” diameter
rod (SS or Brass below) for pins, also see "Mosaic
pins". This design can also be cord wrapped for
a traditional look.
NOTE: The base Sensei™ kit is
supplied with epoxy, 5 x 1.5 Cocobolo handle slabs,
n/s bolsters and pins, and the Sensei blade.
Handle Pins or Cord Wrap are optional.
