DDR2™ Tanto
Locking Liner Gents Folder Kit
The
new DDR2™ Tanto is
the 2nd generation of the highly popular DDRII locking
liner folder kit, introduced in 2000.
With many new refinements this updated version
of the precision gents folder kit will continue
the tradition of high-performance design and quality,
expected from KnifeKits.com products.
The DDR2™ Tanto is a Darrel Ralph design and
is a premium grade knife component system. All of
the DDR2-MB parts and fittings are precision
machined and designed for maximum builder performance.
The liners on this model are stainless steel and heat
treated for low wear.
The
ball
detent
is pre-installed,
the
lock
is pre-bent and the entire assembly has been personally
inspected
by a professional member of our staff. The blade steel
is AUS-8 and has been cryogenically treated to 56-58
rc hardness
and comes with a new high-satin finish.
The kit is NOT drilled and tapped as demonstrated
above. The pocket clip that is shown in the model
unit above was installed for sample purposes only.
We decided to leave it untapped, making it more versatile
for
the
average kit builder.
Note: The
G-10 handle
scales and pocket clip (shown above) are optional.
All other parts shown are included in the basic parts
kit.
