American Whittler Slipjoint Kit
The American Whittler slipjoint folder kit is a classic 3-blade design. At 3 1/2 inches closed, the carry size is perfect. This kit offers the builder an experience in pin-together construction and also an education in modern slipjoint lock design. The blades comes in 420 HC which has a 56 Rockwell hardness. They are beautifully semi-mirror finished with oversizing on the blades, backspines and lock-bar area. This creates the perfect canvas for an excellent decorative filework application, if desired. The liners are brass to create contrast in the design which can be polished to a semi-mirror or mirror finish, as well as satin or bead blast. The bolsters are nickel silver and all parts are precision manufactured in the USA! The American Whittler has a great fit and finish quality and offers all types of designer modification potential.
