Leather Handle Washers | Knife Handle Material

 

These are 1.30 x 1.00 x .125 inch leather handle washers. They are commonly used for creating custom handles on hidden tang knives. The inner opening is 0.40 x 0.120 inches and is designed for sliding over the handle tang. Once they are stacked, they can then be compressed into a uniform handle shape. After stacking and tightening, they can be sanded into the final handle configuration. These are high quality leather parts that are punched out of top-grain cowhide in our USA facility. Once finished, they create excellent handles for knives and tools, and feature high-griping, durable surfaces. This style of handle treatment has been used throughout history and is still one of the best performing ever developed.
