Knife Making Tools | File Guides for Knife Making at KnifeKits.com

This is a precision milled filing guide that is used to simplify, and perfect, many of the grinding and filing chores needed in knife making. Using this file guide, you can create perfectly even bevels on both sides of a blade, create accurate grip serrations on the top/bottom surface of any blade, create precision tang widths and flush joints for marrying guards and/or bolsters, and can be used for creating fine angles for artistic file working treatments. The carbide strips are recessed slightly into the stainless steel base plates for added protection. This way the strips will not be knocked off, or be placed under pressure when clamping a blade in the file guide. Try this knife making file guide in your next knife making project.
