The Oregon Skinner is a high quality bolstered skinning design which is 6.50 inches overall in length. It has a 2.75 inches long blade that is 0.90 inches wide and 0.125 inches thick. This AUS8 high carbon stainless steel blade comes with three 0.190 inch diameter through-holes for 0.187 inch handle pins (stainless steel pinstock included), handle bolts, and/or tubing. This pattern also has two 0.125 inch diameter holes for optional pins in the middle of the handle.
The Oregon Skinner is hollow-ground and mirror-polished. It comes standard with stainless steel bolsters and bolster pins. This is a great design for a working skinner and a really fun project to build. This version of the Oregon Skinner is the combo kit. It comes with the Oregon Skinner blade plus Purpleheart handle scales and stainless steel pinstock to simplify the completion process.
