The "Santoku" knife style is a traditional Japanese vein of knife design for cooking. These have been perfected over the years by masters of the art of both knife making and cutlery. Our Santoku series kitchen cutlery trio is a tribute to this kitchen cutlery style.
The Santoku Utility model is 6.75" overall with a full 3 inches of blade to work with. This knife is at home coring an apple or working as a steak knife. It has fully ground divots and comes in a excellent satin finish. The handle is 4" and features a belly swell design to help it lock in your fingers for control and safety. The blade is AUS8, has been heat treated and is dishwasher safe.
This is a full tang design and is .056 thick.
For handle construction, use (1) .1875 (3/16) center pin and/or (2) 1/8 front/rear pins. Also see "Mosaic Pins".
