The Blunderbuss is considered by many as the earliest form of the shotgun. The rough translation of its Dutch name is "Thunder Pipe", which is exactly what you'll experience when you fire it. This half-stocked .54 caliber is authentic in look and feel. Featuring a percussion side-lock and white steel, satin-finished barrel, this gun is perfect for use at the range or in the field. The Blunderbuss has a 16.75" barrel and has a finished weight of 7.00 lbs. It has an overall length of 29.25" and is avaliable in percussion only.

This kit is very well made and will provide hours of fun and hands-on project enjoyment, all while building your very own authentic muzzle-loader. There is no greater feeling of accomplishment than knowing you built the gun in your hand. This is a solid kit and a serious croud favorite!
