Our professional rivet
flaring dies and unique press system will put a permanent end to
split rivets when fastening KYDEX® Sheet together in your
sheath making process. This system will help you create the perfect
"flare side" (note image above) to help you add the "professional"
touch to your work. Most of the cheap competitive systems split the
backside of the rivet, creating an unattractive, amateurish effect
to the final sheath, plus they are less secure. Systems that do the
proper "roll-over" fasten can cost as much as $400 dollars
and are very hard to find. Our rivet press and dies are professional
grade and roll the rivets as good as anything on the market.
We offer both the #8 (1/4) and #6 (3/16) flaring dies, and also a
unique die press setup for interchanging the dies. The 8-8 rivet is
what is used for Chicago Screws and offers the ultimate sleeve for
these in the sheath. (Note image above)

#8 rivets require a .25 inch hole (1/4) drilled in the KYDEX® sheet for
fastening.
#6 rivets require a .187 inch hole (3/16) drilled in the KYDEX® sheet for
fastening.
