Setting a new standard...
KnifeKits.com was founded in 2001
and introduced a brand new product segment in the knife industry by offering the
world's first designer quality knife kits and custom knife upgrade components.
Since that start, it has grown into a multifaceted knife and gun industry supply
company that produces and offers 1000's of products for DIY knife, gun,
military, self-defense and survival enthusiasts.
"Helping
fellow hobbyist's make great stuff with their own hands has always been our main
focus", says founder and managing partner Alex Whetsell. "Our goal from the
beginning was to offer Do-it-Yourself (DIY) components that could assist knife,
gun, sheath and holster makers with moderate skill to rival the finest quality
custom handmade items being offered."
Today,
we design and/or manufacture the majority of the items that we offer through our
website and distributor network. Unlike traditional knife and gun supply
companies, we provide our customers with much more than raw goods. Our knife,
gun, sheath and holster kits, learning aids, upgrade parts and DIY training are
all part of our integrated approach. The end result of this effort is designed
to provide the highest level of value, in both product quality and DIY builder
support that a fellow hobbyist can find today.
