The KYDEX® Taco Press (6 x 12) is a compact, purpose-built bench tool designed for crafting one-piece taco-style holsters and sheaths from KYDEX®, HOLSTEX®, or similar thermoform materials. Inspired by the mechanics of a manual book press, this tool delivers consistent forming pressure using a hinged wing system that operates with a standard 12 inch trigger clamp (not included).
Built for durability and reliability, the press is constructed from 0.75 inch plywood and assembled with grade 5 hardware fasteners. Its glued and screwed base ensures long-term strength, while recessed fasteners prevent scratching on your workbench surface. Both 6 x 12 inch press wings come equipped with standard grade neoprene foam, attached with hook-and-loop fasteners for easy removal and replacement.
The entire unit is pre-assembled, takes up minimal bench space, and is ready to put to work in any shop focused on holster and sheath making.
