This is the heavy duty version of our spring-loaded pocket cutter guide. When combined with a cutting head, this guide is used for cutting the coil spring cavity needed for an automatic folding knife. It is threaded on one end to accept the removable cutter heads that are available. The other end of the guide can be used in most common drill chucks to create an excellent tool for cutting spring cavities.
This guide has (1) spring loaded replaceable arbor pilot which acts to "pop" the slug from the cutter.
Note: this guide will only work with cutter bits B111163, B111123, and B1111083.
