Crafted from high-speed steel (HSS), the AVSD1 delivers sharp, reliable cuts in thermoplastic materials like Kydex, HOLSTEX, Boltaron, and PVC. It’s ideal for custom makers who use slotted posts, Chicago screws, TLMAB mounting hardware, or similar fasteners. The two-step design produces a 0.205 inch pilot hole with a 0.430 inch recessed head pocket, creating a flush-fit for mounting screws and posts.
This tool is not intended for use on metal or steel but performs exceptionally well on plastic sheet materials used in knife sheaths, gun holsters, and custom gear.
