This damascus Japanese tanto knife kit design is called the "Bushido". It is a USA Made carbon steel damascus fixed blade kit that is hollow-ground and ready to build. This tanto blade blank design is scaled-down for easy use and carry comfort. The Bushido Japanese tanto knife kit has a blade length of 3 inches and an overall length of 7.312 inches. Ground on both sides, the tanto blade is .825 inches wide. This damascus tanto blade blank design features (3) .156 inch through-holes for handle construction (stainless steel pinstock included). The tang holes can be modified with ease to work with larger pinstock, or with threaded fasteners. Please see our drills and taps sections for more options. This version of the Bushido is the combo kit. It comes with the Bushido blade plus Mahogany handle scales and stainless steel pinstock to simplify the completion process.
