The KYDEX® Taco Press with Maxx Center Foam is a compact and durable bench tool designed specifically for forming one-piece taco-style holsters and sheaths from KYDEX® and similar materials. Inspired by a manual book press, this tool uses hinged wings secured by a standard 12 inch trigger clamp (not included) to apply consistent pressure during molding.
Constructed from 0.75 inch plywood and assembled with grade 5 hardware fasteners, the press offers long-lasting durability with a glued and screwed base. Recessed screws prevent damage to your work surface. The hinged wings measure 6 by 12 inches and come with standard grade neoprene foam attached via hook-and-loop fasteners for easy maintenance.
This enhanced model includes a 12 x 12 inch Maxx Form center foam, designed to provide superior support and improved molding performance. The press takes up approximately one square foot of bench space and comes fully pre-assembled for immediate use.
