This damascus skinning knife design is called the "River Skinner". It is a USA Made carbon steel damascus fixed blade that is hollow-ground and ready to build. This model will make a fantastic skinning/hunting knife design. The River Skinner would also make a great pick as a collectible gift project. With a blade length of 3.00 inches and an overall length of 7.56 inches, this design is a perfect sheath size. Ground on both sides, the River Skinner's blade is 1.00 inches wide with a 0.150 inch thickness. This damascus skinner blade blank design features (8) 0.125 inch through holes for handle construction (stainless steel pinstock included), and (1) 0.250 inch thong hole for optional use. These holes can be easily modified to work with larger pinstock or threaded fasteners.

This version of the River Skinner is the combo kit. It comes with the River Skinner blade plus Mahogany handle scales and stainless steel pinstock to simplify the completion process. This is a great project for a weekend knife making session. Spend some quality workshop time with this knife kit and enjoy the fun of custom knife making and customization.
